Akron man wanted after shooting death

AKRON, Ohio - Police are still looking for information about a man they say was involved in a murder back in April.

The Akron Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force are asking for information that will lead to the arrest of 27-year-old Daniel Lanier Travis.

Police said Travis is wanted for aggravated murder, felonious assault, obstructing official business, misrepresenting identity and violation of a protection order, as well as a few traffic violations.

Travis shot J’Suan Eugene Slayton on April 7 several times, according to police.

His last know address is on South Rhodes Avenue in Akron.
