AKRON, Ohio - A 53-year-old Akron man admits to shooting his ex-girlfriend to death following a housing dispute.
John Pritchard, 53, pleaded guilty to murder and other charges in Summit County Common Pleas Court.
On Oct. 9, 2011, Pritchard shot his ex-girlfriend four times after a housing dispute. Prosecutors said he then took her car and fled to New Mexico.
Judge Paul Gallagher will sentence Pritchard on Oct. 12.
