Akron mail carrier robbed while making delivery

AKRON, Ohio - An Akron mail carrier was robbed Saturday while trying to deliver a package.
Akron police said that the female carrier was robbed on Jewett Street just before 1 p.m.
The mail carrier reported three males approached her, knocked her down and took a package. They fled in an unknown type of vehicle. No injuries were reported.
No further description of the males was immediately available.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Akron Police Department.
