AKRON, Ohio - An Akron intersection is closed after a crash involving a fire truck sent one person to the hospital.
Police in Akron said the accident happened around 12:30 p.m. when a vehicle hit a city fire truck.
The intersection of E. Waterloo Road and Coventry Street is closed so crews can clear debris from the scene.
It's unclear if a firefighter was taken to the hospital or a person in the other vehicle.
