AKRON, Ohio - Akron police are asking for the public's help finding Leroy Ellis, 83, of Akron .
Detectives with the department said Ellis was last seen at his apartment on the 300 block of West Cedar Road on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
According to police, Ellis suffers from Alzheimer's and is often seen pushing a shopping cart.
Ellis is described as a black male, with white hair and hazel eyes, standing five feet four inches tall and weight 135 pounds.
Police said Ellis often frequents the bus barn and boards buses to various destinations throughout the county.
Since September, he has traveled to New York, New Jersey, and California.
Despite his history of travel, police believe Ellis may still be in the Akron area.
