AKRON, Ohio - As part of its Home Builders Blitz, Habitat of Humanity of Summit County teamed up with the Home Builders Association of Portage and Summit counties to build three home in eight days.

The homes are on Ardella Avenue in the city of Akron. One of the homeowners is Rev. Mark Ward and his wife. The new home will make it possible for them to live in the neighborhood where Ward is pastor at Zion Temple Baptist Church.

"I think it's going to speak volumes for this community because we always wanted to come in and actually re-connect with this community and I think it will speak volumes in terms of just being here for the community," said Ward.
