AKRON - Akron police are asking the public for help finding a woman accused of hitting a construction worker with her vehicle and fleeing the scene.
Tamika Perkins, 40, of Akron, is wanted for felony hit skip, driving under a suspended license and driving on a closed road and failure to control.
About 8 p.m. Sept. 9, Perkins was driving a tan SUV on Interstate 77 at Vernon Odom Boulevard when she drove into a construction zone and struck a worker. Perkins fled the scene.
The victim suffered serious injuries.
