AKRON, Ohio - An Akron plow driver crashed his plow truck on the icy entrance ramp from Copley Road to I-77 south around 5:30 a.m. Monday.
According to an Akron City employee at the scene, the driver said he started to slide and couldn't get the truck to stop before going over the shoulder of the entrance ramp.
The truck was sitting in a row of small trees about 50 feet off the side of the entrance ramp.
The driver was not injured in the crash.
