AKRON, Ohio - A man from Cuyahoga Falls was killed in a two-car crash in Akron Wednesday morning.
The collision happened at about 7:45 a.m. on West Bath Road near High Hampton Trail.
According to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office, 77-year-old Wayne Jones was one of the people involved in the crash. Paramedics took him to the hospital, where he died about an hour later.
The ME’s office said police are still investigating the circumstances behind the crash. There’s no word yet if anyone else was hurt in the crash.
