CLEVELAND - On a rainy, dreary day, close to 25,000 walked or ran to raise awareness of breast cancer. "The Race For The Cure" is the largest 5k run series in the U.S. and one of the biggest here on Cleveland," says Sophie Sureau, executive director of the Susan G. Komen For The Cure event.
Susan says it's also a gathering to celebrate life, with many breast cancer survivors participating in the days events that included a ceremony, a 5k run, or a 1 mile walk.
The event helps raise millions of dollars for the awareness of breast cancer, education, and community health programs.
