Lance Armstrong investigators in France

PARIS - A French official familiar with the probe says U.S. investigators looking into allegations of doping in professional cycling have shifted their focus to France.

The official says talks are scheduled with the country's anti-doping agency, which has stored some of Lance Armstrong's urine samples.

The official spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to publicly discuss the meeting, which he said is scheduled for this week.

He said he believes the American delegation is comprised of U.S. Food and Drug Administration Agent Jeff Novitzky and U.S. federal prosecutor Doug Miller, as well as U.S. Anti-Doping Agency CEO Travis Tygart.

The official said Tuesday he is certain the delegation is in France and that the French agency plans to fully cooperate.
