CLEVELAND - Ever since 26-year-old Charity Tilleman-Dick was a young child, she knew she wanted to be a singer.
But a serious medical road-block hit the budding star when she was 20 years old.
A lung disorder was stopping the singer from doing what she loved. Medication after several years just wasn't working and Charity was forced to have a double lung transplant last September.
Doctors at the Cleveland Clinic said she is a walking and singing miracle. They believe her positive attitude and outlook on life is what got her to this point.
On Wednesday, for the first time, she sang for the staff who saved her life. Doctors said Charity is expected to live a long, healthy and music filled life.
