Study links microwave oven exposure to asthma

A new health study has linked microwave ovens with a common breathing ailment

It's long been known that microwave ovens have been linked to cancer, reproductive abnormalities, and immune system problems. Now, they are linked to something else: asthma.

In the first study of its kind, scientists found children born to women with the highest level of exposure to the electromagnetic fields in appliances, like microwaves, were more than three times likely to develop asthma.

The researchers at Kaiser Permanente now recommend pregnant women stay away from the microwave, as much as possible.
