Experience blind-folded yoga this weekend

SHEFFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio - Yoga is an ancient art, but an innovative new way to do it is coming to Northeast Ohio this weekend.

This Sunday, yoga and pilates instructor Rob Shulman will be offering a blind-folded yoga class at World Gym in Sheffield Village.

The total cost for the class is $15. World Gym is waiving the non-member participant fee of $7 for a day pass.

Shulman has taught many forms of yoga, and said practicing yoga blind folded offers participants a better understanding of themselves as well as a sense of what visually impaired people experience.

He said this kind of yoga is only offered on a limited basis in just a few areas of the country.

Also, Shulman will be gladly accept donations of sun or eye glasses for the Cleveland Sight Center.
