LYNDHURST, Ohio - The Cleveland Clinic is holding a wellness fair at Lyndhurst’s popular shopping center Legacy Village.
The free event is called Wellness in the Village, and it takes place from 12-4 Friday afternoon.
New York Times best-selling author and the clinic’s chief wellness officer, Dr. Michael Roizen, will speak at noon before a book-signing at Joseph-Beth Booksellers at 1:00. Dr. Roizen has appeared on NewsChannel5, Good Morning America and Oprah.
The event also features presentations and demonstrations about yoga, acupuncture, dietary supplements, quitting smoking, and skin care. Most activities take place on the main lawn of Legacy Village. Complimentary blood pressure checks and additional screenings will be available.
Certain Legacy Village stores are also getting involved. The Viking Store will have live cooking demonstrations, while Urban Active will perform BMI and heart race testing, and Ladies and Gentlemen will perform massages.

12:00 to 12:45 p.m. - Keynote Speaker: Dr. Michael Roizen on The Lawn
1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.: Dr. Michael Roizen Book Signing - Joseph-Beth Booksellers
1:00 p.m. - Yoga Demo
1:30 p.m. - Dr. Tanya Edwards: "Dietary Supplements, What Should You Be Taking?"
2:00 p.m. - Fitness Demo
2:30 p.m. Acupuncture Presentation
3:00 p.m. - Tobacco Treatment Cessation Presentation
3:15 p.m. - Yoga Demo
3:30 p.m. - Dermatology and Healthy Heart Presentation
