CINCINNATI - The halls this fall will be filled with neon. It may be 2012 but some of the displays in local shops resembles 1985.

Welcome back to the 1980s ladies. Seventeen-year-old Kabria Tyler's mom tells her that every day.

"She says, I I used to wear stuff like that, or I used to wear something similar to that, and I'm like, did you really?" said Tyler.

Fashionistas say you can't go wrong with off the shoulder shirts, florals, tribal prints, puffy sleeves and the lace.  They say it's feminine and fun.

Take a cue from the runways and color your closet: add tangerine, bright blues, pink and purple to your neon.

Another style tip is to jazz up your jeans and this year make way for the "super skinny jeans" in all colors.

As for accessories, the more the merrier: lots of bangles, broaches and bling.

For the boys they're going super preppy or super sporty, popping the collar, throwing on some stripes and sporting the prints and plaids.

For fashion from head to toe there's the ballet flats, chunky platforms, Tom's, and neon sneakers. All are hot items, along with beanie caps and flowered headbands.
