COLUMBUS - Governor John Kasich will discuss the details of a highly anticipated new state school funding plan Thursday afternoon in Columbus. The governor will make the announcement in a school administrators meeting.
The Governor's office has been very tight lipped about the details. School districts across the state wonder if the plan will result in more or less money towards education.
It's been about sixteen years since our state supreme court found Ohio's funding plan unconstitutional because it relied too heavily on property taxes.
After the 2 p.m. meeting, there will also be a virtual town hall meeting where people can submit questions about the plan online. That meeting begins at 6 p.m. To take part, you can visit kasichforohio.com/live .
