CLEVELAND - If you love the Mouse and can’t get enough Space Mountain, the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean then Feb. 29 is your day.
The happiest place on earth is taking leap year to the extreme by staying open 24 hours on Leap Day.
Both Disneyland in California and the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida will open at 6 a.m. local time on Feb. 29 and stay open until 6 a.m. the following day.
According to a news release, the 24-hour event is a first for both parks and is part of a bi-coastal salute called “One More Disney Day."
The Leap Day event is the culmination of a sweepstakes that began Jan. 1 and will end on Feb. 29. One entrant each day will win a vacation for four at either Disneyland Resort in California or Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
Details on the Leap Day event and the sweepstakes are available at www.OneMoreDisneyDay.com
