CLEVELAND - A serial killer sentenced to death in Ohio is facing a second trial, this time in an attack on a woman who survived and testified at his murder trial.

Barring a last-minute plea deal, 52-year-old Anthony Sowell goes on trial Monday in Cleveland. He's charged with rape and kidnapping.

Both sides were discussing a plea bargain heading into the weekend. Sowell has pleaded not guilty.

Sowell was sentenced to death last month for killing 11 women and dumping their remains around his property. He is appealing that conviction.

The remains of the victims were found when police went to Sowell's house to investigate a sexual assault complaint in October 2009.
