Program Offers Free Gym Membership To Cuyahoga Co. Residents

CLEVELAND -
A public health campaign is kicking off in northeast Ohio to improve the health and fitness of Cuyahoga County residents.
Starting on Jan. 1, the go!FIT program will offer three months of free gym membership and access to other fitness and nutrition programs to residents of Cuyahoga County.

If you want to participate, you have to register online to print a confirmation. The free gym membership will be at Curves and area YMCA locations.
Participants will have to check in and exercise at least three times a week at their designated fitness location and have weigh-ins each week.
Additional health events will be available to go!FIT participants throughout the program. Prizes will be awarded based on participation and commitment at the end of the program.
Participants will also receive discount coupons on healthy foods from Dave's Markets and access to health and nutrition classes.
