Denny Ross in court

CLEVELAND - Prosecutors are convinced he committed murder, but Denny Ross won't face a second trial for the 1999 murder of Hannah Hill, NewsChannel5 reported.
Ross's first trial ended in a mistrial when the judge in the case declared juror misconduct, even though jurors acquitted him.
A federal judge ruled retrying him would be double jeopardy.
Ross is currently serving a 25-year prison term for the rape of another Akron woman in June 2004.
