Court Upholds Prade Murder Conviction

The 9th District Ohio Court of Appeals ruled Wednesday to uphold the murder conviction of former Akron police chief Capt. Douglas Prade.<P> <P /> <IMG SRC="/Images/Screengrabs/pradeappeal.jpg" ALIGN="LEFT" HEIGHT="141" WIDTH="200" ALT="Prade" BORDER="0" HSPACE="10" VSPACE="5"> <P /> NewsChannel5 reports that Prade is serving a life sentence for the murder of his wife, Dr. Margo Prade, who was shot to death outside her Akron medical office in November 1997.<P> <P /> Prade was convicted of aggravated murder in September 1998, according to The Associated Press.<P> <P /> He appealed his conviction to the court and was denied.<P> <P /> Among other things, Prade argued that the trial should have been moved from
