The deal hunter’s favorite word is “free’” and the internet is full of sites where you can load up on free samples.

Here are a few:

1)    Getitfree.us  collects free offers from around the web such as a free perfume sample from Lancome Paris, a free slice of pizza from Sbarro or a free "minibon" if you join Club Cinnabon.

2)   Instoresnow.walmart.com points you to samples of products offered at Walmart.

3)   It's not as pretty, but if you head to the freebies section of slickdeals.com , you can find lots of free offers.

YouTube is also full of videos of people talking about the free samples they get.

A lot of offers require you to have a Facebook account.

For example, if you want a free Foldgers sample, you've got to like them on Facebook .

Be warned that whether you get your free sample through social media or through a website, companies aren't doing this out of the goodness of their hearts. You're almost always trading some your personal information for a freebie.

So here’s one last tip: To avoid getting a bunch of spam, set up an email account just for your free offers.
