Target recalls LED flashlight sets after reports of burn hazards

Target has recalled an LED flashlight set after reports of people’s hands being burned.

The recall involves the 6-piece LED Flashlight sets. About 55,000 units were sold nationwide from October 2010 through December 2011. The flashlight sets have the UPC code 490021010049.

Target said it received reports of four incidents involving the flashlights, in two cases, people suffered minor to their hands. The retail store said when turned on, the flashlights can heat up, smoke or melt, posing fire or burn hazards.

You should immediately stop using the flashlights and can return them to any Target store for a full refund.
