The Hartz Mountain Corporation is voluntarily recalling its Hartz Chicken Chews and Hartz Oinkies Pig Skin Twists wrapped with Chicken for dogs because they contain trace amounts of unapproved antibiotic residue.
The Hartz Chicken Chews and Oinkies Twists with Chicken have been added to the list of chicken treat products that have been recalled due to the unapproved antibiotics. These antibiotics are approved for use in poultry in China and other countries, but are not among those approved in the U.S.
