CLEVELAND - There are a lot of ideas up for grabs at the Great Big Home and Garden Expo at the I-X Center.

But two in particular caught our eye, because one takes you on a trip back in time, while the other may leave you dreaming of what could be.

Imagine having a 15-seat dream home theater with a large projection screen and surround sound in your home

"It’s all about bigger is better, so the bigger the screen the better," said Tony Fabrick, with Xtend Technologies.

Fabrick said he noticed a change in the business when the economy went south, but now, “it's starting to get really busy again, people are really picking up and starting to spend money again so it's getting better."

And wouldn't a theater seat look nice in a log cabin? One with modern conveniences, of course.

“It's got the kitchen, it's got the bath, it's got the high end microwave and stove, and refrigerator,” said Duane McGlumphy of Timeless Timbers.

While they are a niche market, don't be surprised if you see one of these while you're driving through northeast Ohio.

"We've done one in a cul de sac before where there was nothing but all the same looking houses, and then it had a log home in it," McGlumphy said.
