Kids need haircuts? Take them to JC Penney for a free back-to-school cut

CLEVELAND - With school starting in about three weeks, do your children need a haircut? You can take them to any JC Penney salon and it won't cost you a dime.

The free haircut offer is for students in grades K through 6 during the entire month of August. But if you go Wednesday, Aug. 1, the salon will donate $1 for every free cut given, up to a total of $50,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and 4-H.

Customers can call 855-JCP-KIDS or stop by their local salon to schedule an free appointment for this month while they last.

The free haircuts are part of JC Penney's kick off for its back to school shopping season. Nearly 700 stores across the country have been renovated to make room for three brand shops dedicated to Levi's, The Original Arizona Jean Co. and i jeans by Buffalo.
