Daugirdas says you can get great one-way car rental deals out of Florida from car rental agencies because they have a glut of cars after Spring Break.

And no one-way fee!  Enjoy low rates when you pick up at any participating Avis airport location in Florida and return the car to select locations in New York, Charlotte, Dallas and other cities in the Northeast,Southeast and Central United States. Offer cannot be combined with any other discounts, coupons or promotional rates. Availability is limited and blackout dates may apply. Renter must meet standard age, driver and credit requirements. Taxes, government charges of up to 23%, recoupment fees of up to $2 per day or $3 per rental, airport fees of up to $6 per day or $19 per rental, refueling, an additional driver fee may apply and optional items (e.g. CDW Waiver Savers up to $30 per day) are the responsibility of the renter. Cars kept past this time will be charged a $65.00/day rate plus a one-way drop fee. Vehicles must be returned to one of the participating drop locations or renters will be charged $65.00/day for each rental day, plus appropriate drop fee if applicable.
