CLEVELAND - Cleveland is becoming a food destination.
Today (Thursday) at lunch, we are look for hungry Cleveland foodies -- make Wade Oval in University Circle your destination. We are giving away free samples of chocolate chip cookies and crackers and want you to tell us which one is your favorite.
We've already conducted our sample in three other locations on six other products. We tested cookies, chips and cereal.
"They all tasted the same, but you had a sweet, less crunchy, less salty," Emma King said after tasting tortilla chips.
Our first three sets of taste testers were surprised by the results.
"I won't be buying those no more, because I can buy these," Annie Washington said.
She found a new favorite tortilla chip that's cheaper.
We'll reveal our results tonight on NewsChannel5 at 11, and let you know if you can save money buying generic brand over name brand.
That's all we can tell you for now, because we still have some taste testing to do.
Look for NewsChannel5 in Wade Oval from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. today. Watch the full story tonight at 11 p.m. on NewsChannel5. For live updates, follow Jenn on Facebook and Twitter .
