This weekend will be a good time to figure out your Black Friday strategy. We have tools to help you do that, or to help you save on travel or your Turkey dinner.

Joe Daugirdas also known as Joe the Coupon Guy likes to look at grocery store ads in other markets like Columbus. You can do this by checking blogs in otherĀ  markets or check the store's website. Sometimes you can see the other ad by simply typing in that city's zip code. If the prices are lower in that market, Daugirdas uses that ad at the local grocer who matches competitors ads. So, gobble up the savings this Thanksgiving.

If you are shopping, look for additional savings on beer, wine, or alcohol. There are ads in the weekly coupon sections that arrive in the mail and newspaper. Also, the rebates are sometimes on the product itself. These will be popular throughout the holiday season.

If you are hitting the road, look for savings by taking the bus. Megabus offers $1 bus rides if you book far enough in advance. It's a comfortable bus that also offers free Wi-Fi.

If you need a hotel, try Priceline , Hotwire or Hotels.com . In big cities, I often bid $50 for a hotel and find one.

Daugirdas likes Vacationstogo for their Caribbean cruise package. The site is advertising a 7 day cruise for $259.

If you want to pick up some of Joe's coupon tips, you can bid for a one on one session through Junior Achievement of Cleveland . The bidding ends on Tuesday.

If you want to start planning your Black Friday shopping trip, check out our special section with all the ads .
