Joe the Coupon Guy shows you how to save at local grocers

CLEVELAND - Businesses are making lots of changes to their coupon policies, often taking away or limiting their offers. One grocer is expanding their rules, accepting even more coupons.

Joe Daugirdas, aka Joe the Coupon Guy , said Dave's Markets is one of the last major stores to accept internet coupons. Couponing is now digital and there are lots of deals offered online that you won't find in a circular. Some stores have limitations on how many Internet coupons they will take as there is a lot of fraud.

Dave's reserves the right to refuse any coupons that it believes are fraudulent or excessive. Also, internet coupons with a value over $3 will not be accepted. Free coupons will be taken only up to $3. Also, stacking or combining paper and electronic coupons is prohibited.

Don't forget Dave's doubles coupons just like Giant Eagle.

Dave's also runs gift card promotions like Giant Eagle and Marc's.

Daugirdas likes to support local grocers and Miles Market is another one on his list. The Solon store advertises deals on daily deal sites to offer even more savings like $10 for $20 worth of groceries. These usually generate quite the buzz so buy early.

Also, Daugirdas likes Sun Plum Market in Willoughby Hills. He likes their basket clearance deals. Daugirdas bought a basket of ginger for 99 cents and once 3 eggplants for 99-cents.
