CLEVELAND - This month, 90,000 retirees at Ford will have to make one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives: to take the pension buyout from the automaker or not.

It's being called "the largest voluntary buyout in history."

Retirees can decide whether they’ll manage their own retirement funds or get a monthly sum. The decision could mean the difference between a comfortable retirement, or one filled with struggles.

Here's a list of the seminars where you can get more advice on the buyout:

- Aug. 7 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Westin Hotel in Southfield, Michigan
- Aug. 9 from: 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Community House in Birmingham, Michigan
