MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio - The Anderson family is inside their new home. The cheering crowd outside has dwindled. The rain of the day is gone and there is peace in this Maple Heights neighborhood.
It's the first stillness in a week at the corner of Raymond and Anthony. And residents and visitors alike seem glad at how it has all turned out.
To be sure, there is still much to do here. Tents and equipment and vehicles remain. Security guards control the traffic flow. Indeed, the TV production crew continues to work. However, things feel like they are already returning to normal.
Of course, NewsChannel5 and newsnet5.com will be back at the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" build site tomorrow and beyond -- as we see the project through to completion.
Wednesday, we expect to hear from the family and we'll be on hand all day as the neighborhood gets put back as it was.
Be sure to catch all the latest developments and relive the whole project anytime by reviewing all the stories we have posted here on newsnet5.com.
Finally, click on the video player and hear what some of the volunteers and visitors had to say after watching the Anderson family come home on Tuesday.
