CLEVELAND - Airports and airlines cannot stress this enough to airline passengers: PLEASE check your flight status before you leave home.
A spokesperson from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport told NewsChannel5 that in advance of Wednesday’s storm, United Airlines is anticipating it will cancel up to 60 percent of its flights starting at noon Wednesday.
United Airlines is encouraging all passengers to check their flight status tonight before they go to bed, and again before they leave home tomorrow.
Passengers can check their flights by going to the airport’s flight tracker website here: http://5.wews.com/gm59p , or by calling United directly.
There will be no fees charged to change your flight.
