TOLEDO, Ohio - The low-fare and tech-savvy intercity bus service Megabus is extending a route through Ohio to the University of Michigan campus.
The Toledo Blade reports buses that now stop in Cleveland and Toledo and end their runs in Detroit will continue on to Ann Arbor starting March 14. The route begins in Pittsburgh.
The newspaper reports fares will be as low as $1.50.
Megabus Director of Operations Bryony Chamberlain says the route is being lengthened because many Michigan students asked for that.
Besides its cheap prices, Megabus also offers train-style seats with individual power supplies and Wi-Fi service.
