EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - Rick Santorum says he's walking rather than running for the Republican presidential nomination.
Santorum has lost four straight contests and finished last in Saturday's Nevada caucuses, but he doesn't sound ready to quit the race.
During the Sunday service at Grace Church in Eden Prairie, Minn., Santorum said, ""I'm trying to walk the path that Christ has laid out for me. I'm just trying to discern his will." The former Pennsylvania senator added, "I'll leave it up to him as to how everything turns out."
Santorum told the congregation one of his favorite Bible verses is the blessing on those who are persecuted for truth and righteousness, and Jesus's reminder to pray for the persecutors.
Santorum lamented what he called "a very fallen and broken world" that he said is moving farther away "from Jesus and his message."
