CLEVELAND - I love the face and I love the name. Sprocket is an 8-month-old poodle-mix with very interesting tastes. According to his parents Dave and Natalie, if you're serving beef jerky with yogurt for dessert than Sprocket is your dog. As a matter of fact, he will lick the lid from the yogurt container. But if you want to put some peanut butter on a spoon and expect Sprocket to go for it, you will be disappointed. What can I say, he's just not interested.
There is a sensitive subject in Sprocket's life. I know, you're saying he's only 8 months old, he's too young to have sensitive issues. Well, I'm talking about Sprocket and he is a unique pooch, so go with me here. Most dogs love it when their family members give them their dinner plates to lick after a meal. Sprocket was no exception. That is until that one day, it could have been a cold and rainy night, I'm not sure. But I do know Sprocket had no idea what was about to happen to him. As usual he went to lick a person's plate, I will not reveal their identity, and there was hot sauce on it and Sprocket didn't like it one bit. So, if you ever meet Sprocket don't bring up the topic of hot sauce and how great it tastes on certain food. He will probably give you a stern look and leave the room.
The one thing Sprocket loves to do is to play fetch. He's really good at it. Need a snuggle buddy? Sprocket is on the job and getting a few back rubs in the process I'm sure. When Sprocket goes out for his usual playtime in the neighborhood, he enjoys spending quality time with his best pooch pals Max and Bubba.
Sprocket is a great dog and his family is crazy about him. Look at his face, and tell me if you don't find yourself falling in love.
