AKRON, Ohio - The Haunted Schoolhouse and Laboratory have terrorized Akron for nearly 40 years.
The attraction has won awards and recognition from various Halloween industry publications and websites during that time.
Management told newsnet5.com that the haunt strives to provide a highly polished, professional and entertaining product -- and is constantly working on new and more frightening features.
The attraction is housed in two separate buildings with acres of shared free parking.

October, 4 through November 3
Thrsdays & Sundays: 7:30 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Fridays & Saturdays: 7:30 p.m. - midnight.
Wednesday, Oct. 31 - Halloween night - 7:30 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Admission cost:
Thursdays & Sundays: $14 per person per haunt or $26 for both.
Fridays & Saturdays: $15 per person per haunt or $29 for both.
