PENINSULA, Ohio - Heritage Farms, 6050 Riverview Road, Peninsula, OH, has seen all manner of agricultural activity in it's 160 year history.
Today, the focus is on pumpkins, daylilies, Christmas trees and decorations -- in combination with wholesome family activities like hayrides, corn mazes, scavenger hunts and the Pumpkin Pandemonium extravaganza.
According to the heritage farm website, haunted hayrides will be offered again this fall. The rides will take place Saturday nights in October. The hayrides include the Harvest Maze for $13 per person -- and may be frightening for the youngest of kids.
New for fall 2012 - pumpkin bowling is now an added fee activity.

Pumpkin Pandemonium hours:
Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Sept. 29.
Weekdays: Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays: Noon to 5 p.m. for merchandise sales only.
Sunday, Oct. 14, Heritage Farms is hosting a private Indian Guides induction event.
Sunday, Oct. 28, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. there will be trick-or-treating.
Activities cost:
Children Under 3 are free
Children Over 3 and adults – $6 each
Weekend Family Four Pack – $34 (Sat. and Sun. Only: Entry of four people for all activities, includes a hay ride for each person)
Weekend hay rides around the Farm, $3 a ride per person. (Weather permitting on weekend only. Not included in the above admission price)
Saturday evening haunted hay rides - $13.
