Zagat rates fast food joints in everything from burgers to shakes to breakfast

KANSAS CITY, Missouri - Love it or hate it, chances are, you take advantage of it.

Whether it’s a trip to the drive-thru on the way home from football practice, a stop in the mall food court or a walk across the street on your lunch break, you’ve likely stopped at a fast food restaurant recently.

A survey of more than 6,500 fast food eaters weighed in with all of their favorites, in categories ranging from Best Burger to Best Milkshake to Best Value.

Zagat released their findings Monday.

The most frequent winner was McDonald’s, who earned the nods in Best French Fries, Best Value Menu, Best Value and Best Breakfast Sandwich.

But the biggest winner may have been Wendy’s, who without taking any individual categories, was crowned the winner of the Top Food list among chains with more than 5,000 locations nationwide.
