Chris Koetke, host of the LiveWell Network show, Let’s Dish, is whipping up some fresh, homemade salsa that is super easy to make.
If you love salsa, having some in the fridge at all times is a must. But buying salsa from the store can add up, so make your own. It’s quick, easy, and inexpensive.
Recipe for Fresh Salsa:
Difficulty: Easy
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 0 minutes
Serves: 5 cups
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 Serrano chile (up to 2 if you really want some heat), chopped
4 large tomatoes, seeded and chopped
¼ cup water
Juice of 2 limes
1 cup diced red onions
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon cumin
½ bunch cilantro, chopped
Now serve this salsa alongside some tortilla chips for a great, homemade snack. You can find more reports like this one at our partners website www.livewellnetwork.com .
