CLEVELAND - After reaching a milestone number of fans, Melt Bar & Grilled restaurant will offer a special one-day discount to a certain group of patrons.
The gourmet grilled cheese restaurant has reached 25,000 “fans” on the popular social networking website Facebook as of August 12. Now, the restaurant will give back with a special discount offered to Facebook users who have “liked” Melt’s fanpage. According to a news release, on August 25, fans who bring in a printed copy of the Melt Facebook page will get a 10 percent discount off of their order.
“To be at 25,000 fans is an amazing feeling, that so many love what we’ve done here in Cleveland as much as we love serving them great food and a memorable experience,” Owner Matt Fish said.
Melt created its Facebook page in March of 2008. It uses the page to communicate daily specials and events.
Melt offers the “Melt Challenge,” where visitors can attempt to finish a “monster grilled cheese.” The restaurant it also known for its Tattoo Promotion, which offers patrons 25 percent off any purchase for life if they get the Melt logo tattooed on their bodies.
Melt opened in Lakewood in 2006 and recently opened its second location in Cleveland Heights.
