CLEVELAND - Downtown Cleveland Alliance's 6th annual Downtown Cleveland Restaurant Week kicks off this Friday with a few new twists.

The annual dining event kicked off this afternoon with a polka party featuring local Polka disc jockey, DJ Kishka at The Corner Alley Restaurant.

Downtown Cleveland Restaurant Week features more than 40 dining destinations offering diners a choice of $30 dinner specials and $15 lunch specials at select restaurants.

Participating restaurants this year include Black Dog Kitchen and Bar , Cowell and Hubbard , Hodge's Cleveland , Noodlecat and Tomo Hibachi and Sushi .

The Downtown Cleveland Alliance has hosted the event six years into hosting the week with 40 restaurateurs participating.

"All of our restaurant owners, and servers get a little bit of extra bump, from the Northeast Ohio residents and actually nationally really," said Downtown Cleveland Alliance spokeswoman Gina Morris. "Downtown Cleveland is becoming a foodie destination."

Barley House will also pay tribute to the traditional Polish treat, hosting “Pierogi Palooza” during happy hour on Friday, March 1.

Select parking lots will offer $2 parking with a printable voucher after 5 p.m. during Downtown Cleveland Restaurant Week. A dinner receipt must be presented to validate.

The event will extend through two weekends, ending on Wednesday, March 3

Check out the full list of participating restaurants and call to make a reservation today.
