GAINESVILLE, Fla. - A sheriff's squad car is in need of some repairs after an alligator latched on to the front bumper and caused some serious damage. It happened in Gainesville, Florida and it was all caught on video.
Deputies responded to a home in Florida after a 10-foot alligator wandered into the yard.
The gator wasn't too thrilled to see law enforcement so it crawled up to the parked car and chomped onto the bumper.
Eventually, the alligator let go and was captured by a licensed trapper.
It caused about $2,000 worth of damage to the vehicle but no one was injured.
