After talking to the Kardashians last year and the cast of "Jersey Shore" the year before that, Barbara Walters' list of 2012's "Most Fascinating People" is notably reality show- free.
Instead, Walters' 90-minute special, which is now in its 20th season, will include:
"Fifty Shades of Grey" author E.L. James
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (who made quite the splash in his "Saturday Night Live" cameo this weekend)
Boy band One Direction
Gold-medal-winning Olympic gymnast/budding actress/author Gabby Douglas
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
Seth MacFarlane
And Ben Affleck, who just scored another acting/directing success with "Argo"
The No. 1 "Most Fascinating" person will be revealed on the special when it airs December 12 at 9:30 p.m. on ABC.
