CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Indians have sold their regional TV sports network.
FOX Sports Media Group announced Friday that it has acquired SportsTime Ohio, the Cleveland-based regional sports network held by Indians owners Paul and Larry Dolan.
In addition, FOX Sports Media Group announced said it has secured the exclusive long-term local telecast rights for Indians baseball, ensuring the team will be part of the FOX Sports portfolio of regionally televised hometown teams.
No financial terms were released.
FOX Sports Ohio shows the Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Cavaliers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Columbus Crew, Xavier Musketeers, and Cincinnati Bearcats. Paul Dolan said the club is looking forward to a long-term partnership with FOX.
