Copyright violation or just a coincidence? Listen to the song Carly Rae Jepsen is accused of ripping off and decide for yourself.
Jepsen, one of four named in the suit, is being sued for song theft surrounding her hit "Good Time."
Owl City's Adam Young, and two additional writers, Matt Thiessen and Brian Lee, are also mentioned.

The case was brought by Alabama singer Allyson Nichole Burnett who claims "Good Time" copies her 2010 song "Ah, It's a Love Song."
The complaint claims the song closely mimics a "unique vocal motif" from her track.

Burnett claims that she suffered "emotional and psychological damage" as a result of her song allegedly being ripped off.
Jepsen’s manager says his client is not one of the authors of the song and is not receiving benefits from writing it. He believes Burnett will drop the lawsuit against Jepsen.
