The case was brought by Alabama singer Allyson Nichole Burnett who claims "Good Time" copies her 2010 song "Ah, It's a Love Song."

The complaint claims the song closely mimics a "unique vocal motif" from her track.

Burnett claims that she suffered "emotional and psychological damage" as a result of her song allegedly being ripped off.

Jepsen’s manager says his client is not one of the authors of the song and is not receiving benefits from writing it. He believes Burnett will drop the lawsuit against Jepsen.
