LOS ANGELES - Catherine's the one.

Monday night on the season finale of "The Bachelor," Sean got down on one knee and popped the question.

A few minutes earlier, Sean had to shoot Lindsay down.

She was sobbing and wanted to know if she did something wrong. Sean assured Lindsay it wasn't anything she had done, but his heart was somewhere else.

Later, on the live reunion show, Sean and Catherine announced they would be married on TV.  Sean says they met on ABC, so they should be married on the network, too. But no date was announced for the on-the-air ceremony.

Meanwhile, Desiree will be the next "Bachelorette." Host Chris Harrison made the announcement on the live "Bachelor" reunion show.

Desiree was an audience favorite on the latest season of the Bachelor, but she was eliminated following the hometown date.

Desiree says she can handle the 25 men she'll be meeting on ABC's show this summer.
