Akron band 'The Black Keys' nominated for multiple Grammy Awards

AKRON, Ohio - Akron's own 'The Black Keys' have been nominated for several Grammy Awards.

Their album 'Brothers' was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album. Their song 'Tighten Up' was nominated for Best Rock Song.

The band, Pat Carney and Dan Auerbach, both Firestone High School graduates, were nominated for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group. The song 'Black Mud' was nominated for Best Rock Instrumental Performance.

Michael Carney, the album's Art Director, was nominated for Best Recording Package.
