At 8:30 p.m., The 85th Annual Academy Awards begins with Seth McFarlane hosting the live event. MacFarlane is the creative force behind the television series “Family Guy”, and co-creator of “American Dad” and “The Cleveland Show.”
One highlight of the evening will be actor Mark Wahlberg and his teddy bear co-star, “Ted,” who are on the list of presenters for Oscar night. Wahlberg and Ted, who is voiced by MacFarlane, starred in the hit summer comedy "Ted", which is now the highest-grossing R-rated original comedy of all time.
Other presenters for the night include Jennifer Aniston, Michael Douglas, Jamie Foxx, John Travolta, Ben Affleck, Jessica Chastain and Halle Berry.
The Academy Awards will be presented at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood and Highland Center.
